How To Add Rows and Columns

 

Step One

One of the most important features of the Visual Composer is the ability to add rows and columns to your website. To start adding these, navigate to the page you want to edit in the admin area.

Step Two

Click the blue ‘Frontend Editor’ button. This will bring you up to the Frontend Editor page, where you can see a live update of website changes that you make on the page.

Step Three

To add a row, you’ll need to click on the ‘Add Element’ button as shown. This will bring up several options that you can choose from.

Step Four

Simply click the ‘Row’ button and a row shall appear on the Frontend Editor of the website.

Step Five

Now we can start creating columns. To do this hover over your row and a blue and orange will appear. Click the arrow on the blue box.

Step Six

This will bring up more options. Hover over the options to the icon with the columns – like shown.

Step Seven

This will bring up a box of options for your columns. You can now play around with how many columns you’d like. Once you’re happy with your columns you need to press update and click the exit ‘x’ of the Row Layout box.

Step Eight

This will now bring up your two columns in which you can now add your content.

Step Nine

Remember to press the light blue ‘Update’ button in the top right hand corner of the Frontend Editor.
